Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch | Wales

Rating: 3 out of 5.

After Caernarfon Castle, it was time to, after all these years of just hearing and reading about it, finally see the town of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch in Anglesey. Its one and only attraction – its name. There wasn’t much else to see after that.

Fair to note that google points the center of town to a residential cul-de-sac, likely a prank from locals tricking us yokels to go around in circles. Be it celebrities or run of the mill Welsh towns, though, it’s never boring when something I’ve only learned of shows up right in front of me. I can only guess reading the pronunciation instructions in the station how it should go but there’s really no point in me learning it. I have enough problems with Dutch as it is.
