If there was ever a success meter for meals, the one we had at Felix last night had no trouble measuring up.
With an efficient staff, large, spacious table, and light-filled, relaxed atmosphere, Felix was hitting all the right notes effortlessly. Their one-page menu was clearly meant to impress, it’s the heaviest menu I can recall ever holding, and the delicious, satisfying plaice coupled with a nice gin tonic was perfect for my somewhat missing appetite.
The best part of dining in Felix was that we were finally back to regular programming in terms of meal prices, the sticker shock normal in Denmark was quickly behind us as soon as we crossed the border. I’ve eaten so much on this trip that it’s going to be a while before I get comfortable again with my waistline but so long as there are places like this, the pleasure and experience continues to be more than worth it.
