PICASSO MUSEUM | Barcelona

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Falling asleep at the hotel until late afternoon was clearly a necessity after the last three non-stop days – and long nights – in Bilbao, though it also meant there was little else to do in the city. Fortuitously the Picasso Museum, which we both haven’t been to, was scheduled to stay open until a convenient 8:30 p.m. so there was enough time to do that. Thank god for cabs as we were there in less than 15 minutes and given the manageable queue, able to get in quickly – I suppose it helps that people are more into the pride parade than Picasso. Wonder of wonders the entire museum had a no-cameras policy, which meant I had to take matters into my own hands – the Guggenheim approach will have to be applied to the situation as well.
