The sun is shining full blast this morning in Pessac and I’m so eager to get started that waking up at 6 didn’t feel so bad. A quick shower and getting dressed before dawn gave me enough time to savor the sunrise from our window – even the bathroom has an east-facing window view – which quickly inspired still-sleepy Teko into action. Out of the room by 7, we were the first ones at breakfast where the attendant was trying hard to stay awake having been up all night since her replacement was AWOL. Poor woman, she even dropped some presumably pricey flatware keeping up the breakfast run. The rest of the estate though was quiet as a mouse, and the view to the east absolutely stunning. Great morning so far.
