On our last day in Cinque Terre the realization that we haven’t been to Portovenere dawned on me this morning, which somewhat solved our dilemma of what to do today – a non-problem to be honest in the general scheme of things. We’d already eaten breakfast and prepared to go out when I checked the ferry schedule and saw that we had enough time to walk down to the marina and catch the next boat out. I love it when things fall into place.
The seaside town is about 15 kilometers away, which according to the schedule should take about 30 minutes. The weather’s cooperating again today so the seas should be as calm as can be. Here’s hoping.
