We have another beautiful hotel on this trip and it happened appropriately on our last destination. Always end with a splash as they say. The airport cab driver could have been friendlier – I’m afraid Scotland taxis have ruined me for others – and the scenery from the airport a little more scenic, but when we arrived at the Westbury everything was good with the world again. The reception was warm, the decor standard was high, and the room was more than beautifully adequate for our three nights’ long opportunity to know as much as we can about Dublin. The weather today was also the best of all the other cities on our trip such that shorts would not have been inappropriate at all, and the forecast for the next two days is quite positive. I may not need that four-leaf clover at all.
