Hotel lobby restaurants don’t usually surprise but this one here in St Petersburg did and how. Not only was the service consistently attentive, it was quick, and the food was faultless as were the complimentary sweets that were apparently courtesy of the kitchen staff. Not used to such largesse my cynical side kicked in and thought they were probably just trying to get rid of the left overs before ordering more. Pessimism aside it was a great gesture that shows a level of service that is difficult to find these days. Thanks for the great lunch – it was just what I wanted😊
