Only three hours into our cruise and the Alice In Wonderland-themed Funny Rabbit Bar is already my favorite place on the ship. It was all fifty shades of gray outside our cabin window so after a quick trip to the fitness center, a change of clothes, and several failed attempts to connect to the low-speed pay internet, we went looking for a drink or two…or five in this case. The microwave cheese nachos and the chicken wings helped cushion the alcoholic blow – the seemingly alcohol-impaired walk along the ship was entirely due to the active sea mind you – so we weren’t completely witless after and it was a nice start to this adventure on the somewhat rough waters to St Petersburg.
