Porvoo is extremely photogenic as far as medieval towns go, and one that has mastered the art of distressed wood and basic color combination. We were quite lucky that the weather had turned a nice shade of wonderful such that the light was great for taking photos of anything and everything, which is exactly what ended up happening. Porvoo being a small town it was very easy to cover a lot in a short amount of time, 4 hours – including a long and languorous lunch – in total, enough to appreciate the colorful doors, windows, and streetscape.
Given the number of photos I took, it easily ranks up there in my photos per square inch tourist scale.
