Our final night in Scandinavia this summer was spent celebrating in Ravintola Seahorse, a fairly reputable restaurant serving local cuisine that, while my perceptions may have been affected by my hunger, proved to be a really good choice and a great way to cap a leisurely, unhurried trip through Finland’s capital. I never figured I’d be back in Helsinki since the first time five years ago but if I ever did find myself back here for whatever reason, I’m sure it wouldn’t be an unwelcome idea, not least from a culinary perspective.
