The first of 366 days of 2016 has arrived.
We had an early morning today, mainly from keeping it quiet and staying in last night, and not much in terms of exciting plans for the day. Sensing my utter boredom – I really tried my best to occupy myself as much as I could – it wasn’t long before we were driving in the direction of Tafelberg, one of our favorites, for lunch. It was cold but the sun was blazing, that is before fog rolled in, and sitting by a cozy corner with a view of the forest, we ate our first hearty meal of the year together, followed by a nature walk through forests and over grass fields. The sixteenth year of the second millennium was off to a good start.
