A Perfect Day To Go Sailing

The day started off perfectly, blue skies, a light breeze, and a full harbor quietly waiting for the first boats to set off. It wasn’t my first time to sail the Haringvliet, though it was the first and only time this year, and our destination this morning was a trip back to Tiengemeten, a tiny speck of an island accessible only by boat. Waking up early on a Sunday isn’t necessarily something I would do willingly but family obligations, especially those involving a nine-meter boat, just have to be met.
