Seems like our usual go-to place for Indonesian food in Amsterdam has been replaced. Not only have we now been to Kantjil & de Tijger more times than in our other usual place for Indonesian, Tempo Doeloe, we’ve been there more times than any restaurant in the entire city at this point. As in previous occasions, it was more than satisfying for me and our small group of hungry, rice-craving hedonists, which is probably the reason why we keep coming back. There being no Filipino restaurant to speak of in Amsterdam, the next best thing thankfully is consistently a great experience.
