SHABU SHABU | Wine & Sushi

It’s been a rather slow week of late.

With kitchen issues still playing in the background, it’s been predictably routine day in and day out the entire week I haven’t found much inspiration to write. I haven’t missed this many days of writing and photography in so long I don’t know if I’ve already lost the urge to create — or maybe just to prove something. Early days and late nights at work notwithstanding, I was able to get together with a fellow Asian-American colleague for after-work drinks and nosh at our local pseudo-Asian watering hole. We talked and we talked, big and small alike, and shared a few moments over a couple of glasses of wine, kimchi, and soft-shell crab sushi.It was nice.
