Nothing beats perfect timing. We had just finished eating brunch at Tafelberg when the urge for a nature walk struck. There was a large swathe of green area around us and it seemed fitting to cap off the morning with some exercise and fresh air. Along the way it was a bit surprising walking through fields of wheat, corn, and decorative trees, plus the usual suspects – weekend joggers and their dogs, young families on bikes, and the occasional elderly power walker. As we made our way blindly through the walking paths, as luck would have it we eventually made it back to where we parked just in time before rain started to pour. Not a bad Sunday at all.
