SI SI SEGOVIA

Rating: 4 out of 5.

You had me at hola.

For an excursion, we certainly got a lot back from seeing Segovia. A bit inured at this stage by all the grandeur, the gothic cathedral was as usual impressive, and unlike some towns that can’t balance commerce and culture, the streetscape was completely genuine. It was enlightening to see markers signaling the Camino de Santiago along the sites we saw as it would be the closest I’d get to doing anything related to it. While I may have been inclined to do the arduous trek before, my bucket list has grown long enough that I’d be happy to just make a small dent by the time I’m finished. But then who knows, right.
