No trip to Porto is complete without seeing a port wine cellar, and Graham’s came very highly recommended. While my completely non-scientific survey (from limo drivers to hotel staff) came up inconclusive, it was the one suggested by a colleague at work and once we got there for our tour (a bit sheepishly as we were 15 minutes late), we found a very classy, understated establishment that gave us a really great intro into the history and hard work that goes into making port. They capped off our tour with a sampling of 2, 10, and 20 year old wines that left me only mildly light-headed, and with a feeling that all was good in the world.
