If there’s anything I’ve learned from visiting Mont St Michel and Cesky Krumlov it’s that I really like medieval towns (my temporary Game of Thrones fascination may also have something to do with it). Obidos, once through the old town gate, was exactly just that, castle and all. Sadly we were only there for an hour or so for dinner and had I done any research, I would have at least been able to maximize my time by knowing where to go. All in all I was only able to cover a couple of streets, and only barely, before having to go back for our evening meal of Portuguese food, which thankfully was delicious. If the short time I was there proved anything, I’ll need to walk the streets of Obidos again in the future.
