Another reason why I’m happy to be working where I do.

To welcome some new additions to our team, one of our more enterprising members organized an outing that not only turned out to be the perfect thing to do that sunny Tuesday afternoon, it surprised many of us and was fantastically, absolutely and wonderfully free of charge. For the next two hours we sat in comfort and noshed while we cruised the beautiful canals in style. It reminded me how amazing this city can be in the Spring – it was my first time to do the canals on an open air motorized boat, which my trigger finger very much appreciated, and it gave me a closer, more intimate connection to what’s probably the best attraction in Amsterdam.

Life was good.
