Jordaan In The Brain

It was a gorgeous Spring-like Sunday, I felt we just had to go out. We decided – well, I decided – to go to Anne Frank’s hood and, along with half of Amsterdam, walked around like the tourists all around us. It was clearly that season and I can only imagine what it would be like in the peak July and August months when the entire center is elbow-to-elbow with people looking to see Anne and/or have a few tokes at the local koffeeshops. It was a beautiful day, nonetheless, and while it may have been a bit harder to avoid knocking over aimless tourists on foot and on bikes, we made it unscathed and in one piece.
