We were on a tour of my favorite eating spots, which meant I needed to take my friend to my very own guilty pleasure store. Reliably beautiful, the Sarah dessert, basically chocolate covered in chocolate, was over the top, but the fruit tart and lemon meringue were balanced perfectly. Including a couple of cappuccinos, the whole event was so rich and decadent, it may as well have been worth its weight in gold. Which of course meant only one thing — no more dessert for the rest of the year.
