The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway

For the first time in a long time — it snowed.

Being in a higher latitude, one would think that there’d be more snow here compared to my former home in Washington DC but for better or worse, it’s realistically not the case. Since snow in DC comes even as early as November, I do miss seeing extended winter wonderlands since I moved over here, though I’m sure if I jogged my memory strong enough I’d be sure to remember how much cursing I did navigating through sludge and muddy ice. But as is always the case with my inner child, fresh snow not only brings out fond early memories but also the almost primitive instinct of reaching to the ground and balling up a handful of the white stuff to throw at the nearest person around.
Check and check.
