OSDORP TUINCENTRUM KERSTMARKT 2014 | Amsterdam

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Our local garden center has gone all out and Christmas crazy.
It could be me, and I can’t remember if the previous years have been this soon in celebrating the most wonderful time of the year, but this year seems to be somewhat on the early side. Not that I’m complaining.

After our weekend workout, and many rejections over the past couple of weeks, my partner finally agreed to accompany me to see what was new at the tuincentrum. I was expecting a little bit more activity in the indoor Christmas market, but I was definitely pleasantly taken aback by what I saw. Santa, his elves, and the whole North Pole practically took over the entire store, lock, stock, and Christmas barrel. It almost felt like I was back in Santa’s Christmas Village in Finland! They were even playing Christmas songs all throughout the store that brought back not a few childhood memories. Suffice it to say, it wasn’t just the kids on the miniature train that were having fun – I was as giddy as a schoolboy walking around and taking pictures like there was no tomorrow.
