It was either a walk through the Amsterdam forest or along the North Sea shore. Thinking the latter was more scenic, we ended up at the cafe in Parnassia Aan Zee for brunch along with the local bourgeoisie, and afterwards walked a good stretch of the beach. Nothing like a five kilometer walk along the shore on an unmistakably beautiful Sunday. It seemed though that everyone and their uncle were walking with their dogs that day, they were just peeing everywhere. Nonetheless, apart from the domestic kind, we did get to see some local fauna in all their naked glory. A bit shy even from afar, they did walk away when people came wandering by. Welcome to Europe indeed.
