While I did miss out on Münster’s historic city hall, I at least got to see an impressive cathedral – it isn’t everyday I get to see a building dating back to the 13th century after all. Walking through the weekend market in the church square though, I couldn’t help but feel nostalgic over our trip to the Christmas market in Cologne last year. Even this early I’ve obviously got a serious case of the holiday fever.
Sad to say, we missed out on seeing the Astronomical clock which is supposed to be the reason why most people went there. Serves me right for not doing my research. If by some twist of fate I find myself back in Munster, at least I’ll have a clock to look forward to.
