I woke up one morning with the sight of my recent potted plant purchase suddenly drooping over and, for the life of me, I thought ‘what a @#$% waste…’. It wasn’t a good start to the morning and as we were rushing out the door to go to work, it was all I could think about. I’d put it in a plant box that never seemed to keep anything alive for any decent length of time, and which for a while I thought was caused by the neighbors feeling jealous and pouring poison over it. Silly thoughts.

Well, out of sight out of mind indeed as I didn’t give it much thought until the next morning where I found that all was well in the world. The stems were standing straight and proud and soaking up the refreshing, morning sun. My €7.99 hasn’t gone to pot…at least not just yet.
