Chichi Cheese

If ever someone wanted to go to a chichi cheese store, now at least I know where to take them.

During another after-lunch walk, one of our group wanted to go buy some fancy-schmancy artisanal cheese, and like little ducklings we waddled behind her all the way to the store.

The store was along Utrechtsestraat, which is within curdling distance from our former work building on Rembrandt Square. Interestingly, right next door was another artisanal store, that one selling Serrano ham and other expensive meats. Even more appropriate, right across the street is my favorite Patisserie Kuyt which is bound to have some fine bread for sale. Given the time and money. there’s nothing like a first-class ham and cheese sandwich to get one through the day. I really miss this neighborhood.
