After another whirlwind European tour with the Ancheta family, we were back in Amsterdam and the point of order on the first full day back was lunch — and Indonesian was on the menu.
I really should pay more attention to Indonesian restaurants in this city since it’s supposedly the best to be found outside of Indonesia. I’ve only been to Tempo Doeloe before this and though I thought that was expensive for Southeast Asian food, it was pretty satisfying. The food this time around was just as, and getting a large table by the window was an added bonus. Since there are no Filipino restaurants over here, I suppose it’s the best alternative – Wok 2 Walk aside – to getting my rice fix.
