Apparently, the name of the hotel is pronounced with a ‘W’ rather than a ‘V’.
We were at the Kvosin and it was close to perfect. I loved the furniture and the overall aesthetic of the place, and it’s right in the center of everything downtown – given the fact that temperatures here are below freezing makes that point life-savingly convenient. The staff were nice and generally capable, though I did have to ask for toilet paper one morning since there was none stored anywhere in the room. It’s not a full-service hotel since I couldn’t see any room service options anywhere, but in the end it was more than suitable for what we needed. And since I was hoping to meet Björk on this trip somehow, I can scratch that off my to-do list.
