BURGER BAR REGULIERSBREESTRAAT | Amsterdam

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

The Best Burger in Amsterdam.

Another one to check-off the list. Have now found a place with my definition of a good burger. It’s a bit on the pricey side (dammit Netherlands!) but it’s the quality that I’d been looking for for the longest time.

Got the 270 gm wagyu version with a side of belgian fries and a cola — total €17.50. I could cry.

The store coincidentally is close to the office. My tram  would always pass this place by but since we have free lunch (and only a half-hour break) there was rarely an opportunity to stop in unless it was a special trip. I was surprised we were able to get a seat at all considering how tiny the store was. And to think it’s on one of the busiest streets in the city.

Have to say though that the first bite (and subsequent ones) made it easier to forget how much it cost. It was really good.

On the way out I finally got to see something up close. One thing I kept noticing on the tram to work was this graffiti art on a wall nearby which has kept me wondering…is this from Banksy??

  1. The Burger Bar has some of the best burgers in town by far…probably the best I ever had in Europe. They are pricey but we got a Groupon which made it much cheaper.
