Wow, that brings me back.
I must have watched it a hundred times over the years. Loved the music and the story it was trying to tell. It certainly made an impression on me – I even had all the songs memorized at one point – which would maybe explain my affinity for musical theatre.

Was sad to hear that the A Chorus Line composer Marvin Hamlisch died this week. Thanks for the beautiful music, Mr Hamlisch. Nobody does it better.
