Thinking about dream trips made me remember memorable ones I’ve had myself. Luckily, the most recent one happened just at the beginning of this year.

In huge part sponsored by my friends Nick and Mikko, my partner who had never been, accompanied me back to Dubai, and I enjoyed it immensely more so this second time around. What started as a spur of the moment suggestion sandstormed into reality and became one of the many reasons I’m thankful for my often generous friends. 

So many firsts happened during this trip – first time on an A380 (pretty cool), first time to sleep in a skyscraper 150m high up (amazing), first time to experience high tea (faaahncy!), and first time in Oman.

But the clear highlight would have to be our memorable stay in Muscat where our hosts had us billeted at the Ritz-Carlton, and what an experience that was.

The resort setting was spectacular, bar none. I can not be thankful enough for how fantastic the whole experience was. Thank you again, Nick and Mikko – you guys are unbelievable!
